You need the latest BIOS files which are created for your region. Lets start with the PS2 BIOS file(Hiroshima, Japan edition) which covers both the North America and Japan. What is good about this BIOS file is that it has all files in both ZIP and ISO images so you dont have to extract those.

To run a PS2 BIOS file on the emulator, you have to extract the folder PS2_BIOS_Hiroshima_Japan_Base which is the folder where the ZIP file located. If you are using the Renjin 2.9.2, then you can just extract this folder directly into the appnene folder PS2 BIOS folder on your PC. So once you have extracted the ZIP file, you can skip the rest of the tutorial and go to the next step.
In order to run the PS2 BIOS file, you need to first of all create a folder where you can store all the extracted files in your emulator. Make sure that the folder you choose is not being used by other emulator applications or any other emulator tools. Next, you will need a PS2 emulator which is the best option is Renjin 2.9.2. If you dont have it yet, please refer to the XMB menu in the emulator and click File, then select New.
